On 13 September 2025, Cycle for Change powered by Matrix Fitness South Africa transforms Workshop17, V&A Waterfront into a high-energy, purpose-driven fitness arena.
Every pedal stroke powers permanent indoor cycling studios at Velokhaya Cycling Academy and Songezo’s Cycling Academy — supplied with Matrix Fitness bikes — giving young riders access to fitness, focus, and opportunity.

AM Session – Registration: 08:00 | Spinathon: 09:00–12:30
PM Session – Registration: 13:00 | Spinathon: 14:00–17:30
Each team may include up to 10 riders, all over the age of 18.
Who can ride?
Corporate Team Package (R30,000)
Up to 10 riders + 2 VIP guest tickets. Branded team numbers, logo placement in the event AV sting, and a permanent brand presence in the NGO spin studio legacy wall. Includes Platinum Wellness Hampers for each rider, validated parking, and professional team photography.
Changemaker Sponsor Package (R30,000)
Sponsor an NGO team to ride on your behalf. Package includes 8 NGO riders + 4 VIP guest passes. You’ll receive the same branding, recognition, and legacy benefits as corporate teams — while enabling youth participation.
Individual Rider Tickets (R950 each)
Come solo or bring your friends. We’ll build teams of 10 on the day — a great way to connect with new people while riding for change. Each rider receives a curated Wellness Hamper.
What to expect:
Arrive an hour before your session to register. Get your official gear at the Registration Zone, experience Pre-Ride hospitality with Sir Fruit, Bootlegger Coffee, Biogen, and Bluewater, and enjoy an adrenaline-charged Spin Relay hosted by Liezel van der Westhuizen & Nic Dlamini, with celebrity instructors led by Lucas Mthenjane.
Each rider will spin for up to 20 minutes as part of a team relay — surrounded by energising music, hospitality, and fitness engagement zones that elevate the experience. For teams with fewer than 10 riders, each participant may cycle for longer or take multiple turns — doubling the challenge and the impact.
Celebrate together at the Grand Finale countdown, then recover with WellTech cryotherapy, JVO Biokineticists massage, world class hospitality, OnePlan interactive media wall and DJ Yummy beats. Take home a curated Rider Hamper packed with wellness and lifestyle brands.
